BOOK A BEER TASTING FOR YOUR EVENT
OR YOUR GROUP OF FRIENDS
(Childhood friends, hen party, bachelor party, class reunion…)
A beer tasting event is fun, and not just for those who already like beer! Through a beer tasting, you can discover that almost everyone likes it. Beer, that is. Why not give someone a beer tasting as a gift for their birthday, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, name day… or why not on National Semla Day?
Fixed costs for beer tasting bookings:
- You’ll purchase the beer beforehand in consultation with Pelle, at a cost of about 100–150 SEK per person. (The beer must be ordered by you through Systembolaget or another retailer. Pelle would have liked to bring it himself, but current legislation doesn’t allow it.)
- Costs for shipping Pelle and the beer glasses if you are outside Gothenburg, as well as accommodation costs if necessary. Feel free to reach out even if you’re far from Gothenburg—traveling is fun!
- For groups of up to 20 people, the tasting itself costs 5000 SEK (+ fixed costs as listed above).
- For groups larger than 20 people, the cost is 250 SEK per person (+ fixed costs as listed above).
We have glasses for an unlimited number of people, so feel free to test me! 🙂 The Guinness record for a beer tasting is 1236 people, and I’d love to beat that.

Company Events
…or conferences or client events…
A beer tasting can be a lot of fun as part of a conference! However, it’s important to consider whether the conference takes place at a venue that has a license to serve alcohol. This may mean they could purchase drinks directly from a brewery or at least order all the necessary beverages (of course, in consultation with Pelle, to make sure everything is correct). Some venues also have rules that prohibit bringing your own drinks, which we will, of course, need to comply with.
We can easily arrange tastings in English if needed, and if you have any other questions, feel free to get in touch. We’re happy to accommodate!

Open Beer Tastings
Pelle also hosts open beer tastings at two different breweries in Gothenburg: Stigbergets and Beerbliotek. These tend to have larger groups, but you can join as an individual or as a smaller group. (Read more about these under the ”Upcoming Tastings” tab).
